SHARE Upcoming Events
It is SUMMER! Things are hot and the riding is great!! We are planning some fun events and activities for later in the year - time for our ALL ABOUT THE HORSE on JULY 8 - where you just may find the horse of your dreams - and our Fall Open House in October with lots of activities for the whole family. Check back often to find out what is coming up!
CANCELED DUE TO HIGH HEAT AND HEAT INDEX!! TOO HOT!! SUNDAY, JULY 8, 2018, from noon to 4 p.m. is a special presentation of the adoptable horses of SHARE! The horses will be out for everyone to meet, have some time petting and brushing them, and watch them be ridden, and a demonstration of the different breeds at SHARE. It will be a fun afternoon for horses and people! Adoption applications will be on-hand for those who wish to complete one! Last year's event resulted in several horses finding their forever homes! We hope to see you there and we will also be serving our $5 lunch - hot dog, chips and a drink. Desserts will be on sale too!
This is a showcase of what a wonderful organization that SHARE is. It also provides an opportunity for visitors to learn first hand what SHARE is about and to help with donations and items from our Wish List. This year's Open House will be held in October on a Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. We'll announce the date later! There are horses and more horses - of all sizes, a hay ride, games for kids of all ages, food including a hot dog lunch ($5), horse rides and more! This is always a great day with loads of fun for everyone! We will also be having a Costume Parade of horses again - fun, fun, and more fun!
