Horses and other animals in need are currently in the care of SHARE volunteers, and are waiting for a good home. Our primary goal is to find good, permanent homes for the horses. There is also a need for foster homes to aid in caring for healthy horses, pasture pet, for training, and other areas. Please take a look at the following information.
Begin by browsing our horses currently available for adoption.
SHARE makes every effort to ensure that all the horses up for adoption are placed in forever homes that are nurturing and caring. To this end we have a list of requirements, for those wishing to adopt. In order to be eligible, all requirements must be met. Additionally SHARE follows up on adopted animals for up to 2 years to safeguard against any negative issues that may arise.
Full details along with downloadable forms available here.

Not everyone can make the long-term committment of a permanent adoption, but still wish to participate in the rescuing of neglected or abused horses, or simply love horses. Others may be able to help with training or in other areas. Fostering may be the answer for you!
At this time SHARE is not in need of long-term foster homes but if you would like to be considered IF the need arises, please let us know. Thank you!
We are also looking for some long-term foster home for some of our wonderful pasture pets. They make great companion horses and family pets - they just want some attention and love!
